The Detachment is ever grateful for the support it receives from the Brazos Valley community.  In turn, we look for opportunities to extend our appreciation to those in the community doing some good and express our heartfelt thanks for setting a great example!

June 2020 - Presented to HEB Jones Crossing Manager Frank Hidalgo for his company's continued support for the Detachment's annual Operation MRE fundraiser!

December 2020 - Presented to Bryan City Cemetery Sexton Robert Jackson for his dedication and support for the Detachment's activities in Sections 17 and 18, as well as his guidance and expertise in the effort to establish a section for veterans (Section 28).

June 2021 - Presented to Sherri Valenzuela for her outstanding and dedicated service at the VA clinic here in College Station!

January 2022 - Presented to April Orcutt and her PetSmart team for continuing to donate stuffed animals in support of the Adopt-a-Parks-Pal program – which in partnership with the College Station Parks & Recreation department allows the Detachment to hand out those stuffed animals annually at the Christmas in the Park holiday event at the Stephen C. Beachy Central Park.
